About MY3DLAB: Precision Engineering in Calgary
Founded in Calgary, Alberta, MY3DLAB is an independent engineering studio dedicated to precision 3D scanning, reverse engineering, 3D modeling, and additive manufacturing.
My name is Mykola Yasynskyi, and I built this studio on a strictly practical foundation. With a degree in Electro-Mechanical Engineering from the Odesa National Maritime University, my background isn’t in theoretical R&D, but in the demanding environment of the field. I spent years working aboard commercial vessels, focusing on the operation, maintenance, and repair of complex marine machinery, alongside industrial automation and control systems.
Knowing exactly how components wear, fail, and interact within these harsh, automated environments provides a practical edge when it comes to reverse-engineering physical parts. After more than 10 years in the 3D space as a dedicated hobbyist, I established MY3DLAB to bring these capabilities directly to clients.
My core philosophy is simple: practically anything is possible; it only requires time, desire, and the right resources. As a solo-operated lab, there is no corporate runaround. You work directly with me, ensuring meticulous personal attention to every single millimeter of your project.
